"Prosecutors are looking for the lie - and then to show jurors how (executives) profited from the lie," said Peter Henning, a Wayne State University Law professor and former federal prosecutor. "It's not enough to show they got high salaries and lots of perks. That doesn't equal fraudulent effort to harm the company."
